thank you so much with the step by step process presentation file. It is very helpful and looks easy to me.
by the way, do u know how long does it take.
The whole job should take about 30-45 minutes the first time you do it. I had a problem when I installed the 3 disc cd changer in my 94 where the connection to the back of the radio would become a bit loose, so I had to do it repeatly for a while. It got to the point where I could take the radio/cd combination unit out of the car in 5 minutes.

no problem, i only wish i had that when i installed by stereo, id say itd take an about an hour, gettin everything ready and putting it away (depending on your mechanical ability) also, itll probly go a bit easier if you spice your stero harness with that univeral stereo harness before you start on you car.

i opened my old stereo to see if i could put the new one. BUT i got confused with the wires. Not all the wires are same color so i didn't do anything. I might as well pay for it to put it in. I am not good at any mechanics. I dont have any mechanical ability.

if you didnt buy a harness with your stereo (not the one that the stereo came with), it looks confusing. but its pretty much plug and play.
course most places offer free install when you buy a stereo

dont quote me, but i think most all after market stereos are the same size. i suppose you could check someplace like crutchfeild.com for compatability, or size specs.
^^ the camry fits both single DIN and double DIN units pretty easily. I think they were made for these standard sizes.
