Performance Radiators for Camrys(Not a question an answer!)
OK camry people I have a chance to maybe get a performance Radiator company to start making Performance Radiators excluesivly to CTmotorsport and was wondering if this is even something that camry owners such as myself(ill get one no matter what) would care to look at price and arrangments are not discussed yet.
I just wanna know if anyone would be interested! Im not making any promises but I have a conection to this company due to the fact that I have designed all of their radiator packaging at my company and now may have a chance to sway them into the camry market! These are racing radiators and weight rufly 15lbs if not less and are Aluminum welded with perfection and look and feel performance!
I will have mroe soon but just wanted to see what everyone thought about a performance radiator for different year camrys! thankx!
novelty? heh Im going for the perfomance but as longas ya buy one i dont care if u use it as a night stand ! But im not sure about price I see most performance RAd's going for 300 but once again I have no idea what this company would charge but hopefully will soon!
20% to 40% cooler engine meaning better performance...better running engine, longer lasting engine, good for track use or for around the town drivin. Holds down the engine temp to prevent from engine breakdown and enables higher and smoother rev so im told by a friend. Not to mention a nice polished radiator look from the front!
all of the above really i will get more info but its the fin design and structure design of flow, and the material reaction to tempuratures and its ability to deliver the cold to the fluids and the flow rate which it does so i believe!
I was looking at Fluidyne's site for some answers. No luck. I get what you're saying though. I guess I was looking for a more detailed explanation.

"FLUIDYNE has coupled its racing technology with street smarts to develop the optimum "Direct-Fit" all-aluminum radiators for these special breed of vehicles. FLUIDYNE radiators feature CAB-brazed (no epoxy) core construction, polished aluminum tanks and durable high efficiency air fins for maximum cooling capability across the full range of city, highway and road course driving."
"Q. What makes a FLUIDYNE radiator better than those offered by other manufacturers?
A. At FLUIDYNE we make certain that our radiators are truly direct-fit, bolt-in replacements. There will be no modifications to the vehicle necessary to install a FLUIDYNE radiator into the specified applications. Also, FLUIDYNE does not use epoxy to seal any part of the radiator. The cores are assembled using our million dollar Nocolok brazing furnace, and all tanks and brackets are TIG welded by hand. Many of FLUIDYNE’S cores are approximately twice as thick as the original cores for extra cooling ability.
well, I said as a novelty because besides for the weight reduction too, and the added bit of performance from the engine being cooler, unless I decide to put boost on my car, or something like that- which I don't see happening, I really don't need it....good idea for track days, fer sure....but my tranny'll be the first thing to go before my engine....

For the 4cylinder Camrys you can use the supra twin turbo with a little high school grade bracket fabrication. Will the V6 ... I dont know... I've already talk to fluidyne before and they are not interested in making one for the camry... One company that does making custom radiators for a decent price is C&R radiators in Mich. (I think thats where they are located ).
Upgrade raditors are not need on a camry with bolt on parts... A camry running a supercharger or turbo would definitly capatilize on a modification of this nature. But, a camry with only bolts on ( i.e. exhaust, intake, etc...) wouldnt need it and it would be a waste of money...
