if there was a few trd front replicas, what would y'all prefer ?

i was in a dilemma a while back. Someone lost my rear valances. I had the option to buy fg for $200 or poly for 340; i choose the latter cus i'm aware of fb problems!

Stupid thread...

Fiberglass- Looks cool. First time you hit it you get a crack that will grow and grow. Paint chips a lot more easier on fiberglass too. The only reason i (and im sure other people will agree) would want a fiberlgass front end would be for a show car. If your car is lowered and your driving it a lot, chances are your going to nick it which will crack.

Poly- Flexible. Extremely flexible so when you hit something or nick a sharp driveway pulling out, it will bend the direction of the flex, and there are flex-paints out there as well that will not chip when bent.

Sorry if i sound like im lecturing i just see so many fiberglass front lips or front ends with nasty ugly looking cracks on them, and ive had 2 poly lips on my last cars which i loved.

well i like FG becasue its easily modded. So if I was to mod my body kit, fiberglass... but the poly is definetly the way to go for long lasting.

poly is heavier though, and occasionally develops fitment issues.
