Transmission Just Got Fixed: Now My Lights Are Screwed! HELP

Stupid guage showing that i need to replace the rear light bulbs lights up everytime my lights are on and i step on the brake (Just got new tails with bulbs a few months ago). Also when I step on the brake the left turn arrow on the gauge lights up and stays lighted until I release the brake. When the lights are on and i turn on the left turn signal while stepping on the brake it flashes real fast but the rear tail light signal dosent do anything .Both flash normal when i release the brake. Anyone know how i can fix this on my own before i got back to the guy who fixed my transmission and give him a piece of my mind?

one of your rear brake bulbs is out... check all 4 of them if you have a 92-94... turn your parking lights on and check the rear panel to make sure all of the brake bulbs light up half way, then tap the brake and see if they ALL get brighter...

i had to same problem, and i was like WTF nothing is wrong, but it ended up being one of the dual-contact brake bulbs.

latez.
