Question Do these performance increasers actually work?

waste of money. almost the same thing as the crap they sell on ebay. you might see a little bit of a difference but not enough for the money they want. plus you better have i/h/e to get the best effect!

venoms are essentially piggybacks, they CAN be retuned after the initial install by approved workshops.

the gains you get from them are up to how good the tuner is.

on a 5sfe you wont get much from ecu upgrades, but still more then what headers and a cold air intake will make. most of it will be down low-mid as the 5s just sucks up top and doesnt have enough lift to breathe.

OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.

Um.... to be honest i'm not really sure. I wouldn't use those. On my cb7 i have the sparks indexed. THe computer chip thingy they have looks like one of those ebay things where it tricks your ecu into thinking that the car is actually cooler than it actually is. This is obviously not good. Not sure if this is correct but yeah.

Yea whats with those things on ebay? I saw them selling Resistors how does that d anything but resist flow? I can easily pick one up in my computer class.
