2nd Generation leakage...:(

i got 2 problems..my car has been leakin oil i poured ultra vilolet oil in like a cup worth into my engine to see where its coming from. well i found it, in 2 different spots. the valve cover gasket is leaking and im pretty sure the distributor is leakin too. any ideas on what i should do about getting theese parts and installing them and what exactly to buy? thanks guys...

Well, the obvious this would be to buy a valve cover gasket and a distributor o-ring/seal. Then remove the valve cover gasket and distributor, replace the gaskets and then put them back in...

^^^^ what he said should pretty much take care of it. THose are fairly common leaking points on the four cylinder engines in Camry's and Celica's. Well pretty much anything with a 3S or 5S engine it it.

2nd Generation

^^ The 2VZs and 4AGEs are also bad for valve cover/distributor o-ring leakage. Both are easy to replace, you don't have to dismantle too much to get them out. The rear bank valve cover removal on a &*%# transverse V6, however, is not so damn easy...luckily you have a nice, easy four-banger.
