3rd Generation Suspension Q's

Hey fellow TN'ers, I haven't been on the forums for a few months...Winter in Minnesota sucks! But anyways, I have had my H&R springs sitting in my garage for a while and its time to put them in. My car is a 94 coupe v6 le, and Im not only going to install the springs, but I need to order some high performance struts. My questions are does anyone know what struts work best with the H&R sport springs? Where online can I find them for a legit price? Are there any other parts I need while swapping the suspension out, or do I just need to order struts? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated cause spring is rollin around the corner and I need to order soon for when the weather is nice. Thanks.

yo I mean you really don't have that much of an option when it comes to struts, If I were you I would go ahead and get Tokico struts to seal the deal with those H&R springs. And because you are going for a performance suspension I would go head and change all the bushings, stabalizer bar and stabalizer bar link kit, all of which would give you a tighter more responsive suspension system. But if you didin't wanna do the rest def go for the tokico struts. GOOD LUCK

well, if you want performance, go with tokico's, if you want a replacement strut, go with KYB's. you can ebay the struts (easiest), or check www.nopionline.com

Bilsteins are far better than Tokicos and Tokicos are far better than KYB's. On my 98 Camry the strut mounts are too soft wich resulted in an annoying knocking sound from the shaft of the strut hitting the spring perch in the front with the Bilsteins. The tokicos are a good all around choice and still come with a lifetime warranty.
I have JIC's now and they are amazing..
