What are most important repairs to increase resale value?

My 94 V6 LE has 178,000+ Miles and runs great, looks decent, and is ultra reliable. Just wondering though what are buyers of used camry;s looking for when they set out to purchase a used gen 3? Obviously low mileage can't be THAT big of a consideration becauase it seems like the higher your mileage on these cars the bigger the bragging rights! Anyway I think I have repaired the most important things in the past 18 months any other suggestions are welcome: So far Replaced the Y pipe from manifold to cat-the OE was rusted through at the flex section. Timing belt was replaced around 90,000 miles. Brakes are new, Replaced dirvers side power mirror, Replaced worn axle shafts and ball joints, will be doing tie rod ends and complete struts and springs soon. Replaced broke drivers side power window motor, frequent oil and spark plug changes, frequent air cleaner changes, replaced several bulbs, adjusted parking brake, and passed emmissions last month. What else should I be looking at for preventative maintenance that I should replace in the near future before it fails??

i think with the older cars what is important are the service records, good engine, good transmission, and then cosmetics like: wheels, rims, paint, interior... that should do it. oh, the A/C and heater should work well too. that will keep your resale value in line.

Sounds like you've been keeping it up really well. If i had this car i'd be worrying about keeping it running reliably; and resale value with a high mi car is not all that big a concern where i live (southern California), around here it would not be a lot no matter whats done to it.
The V-6 is probly about due to get another timing belt at this mileage, id also change the tensioner device and idler pulleys especially if it wasnt done the first time. And while the belt was off i would change the water pump too, for sure.
Youre on the right track with the front end, after replacing all the other stuff you mentioned id go ahead and replace it all (idler arm etc). You didnt mention the fuel filter but hopefully it got changed every 30 k. Also i'd be expecting the fuel pump to conk out right about now if it hasnt already, if i were keeping the car for a while i'd just change it preventative.

nothing increases resale value per se

basically anything that's fully running well (no leaks), quiet, rust free, good paint, tires w/ tread, and low mileage is tops

beyond that, the only thing that people really care about is a fairly recent timing belt change and maybe brakes and consistent oil changes

beyond that, you won't get any more money just because you've replaced the exhaust, bearings, etc etc because they aren't often replaced anyway, and will most likely last for lots longer if they have no visible problems and make no sounds, etc. since they aren't part of regular maintenance

also, some people don't care what you've done/fixed on the car anyway, since they will do ALL maintenance required once they've bought the car and check/re-check everything everything, and may be even less enthusiastic if you got something fixed, but not as well as they would have liked

in short, if it ain't broke, don't fix/replace it, since most people don't care if you've done it
