99 LE - IGN wire in left kick panel

I'm installing an auto-dimming rearview mirror. I have the wires down to the left kick panel. There's a ground point, so that part is done. I have a Haynes manual which isn't very useful in identifying a wire in that location that's live when the key is in the ON position. Can someone help me find such a wire in that location? Otherwise I'll run the wire to the key switch.

Thanks,
Sixto

Black/yellow wire at the ignition harness.

Ignition harness is at the bottom of the steering column. Big fat wires, you can't miss them.

Thanks for the link. My mirror came with instructions. What I don't have is a manual with pin out description of the dozen connectors behind the kick panel. There must be an IGN wire in that jungle. Worst case I'll route it to the key switch.

For future reference, IGN power is available in the junction block around the left dash fuses:

- connector 1T (9-pin connector which is third in going forward from the door jamb along the bottom) black wire with red stripe in position 8. Downstream of 5A IGN fuse.

- connector 1J (13-pin connector which is in the upper door jamb corner on the back side of the junction block) red wire with blue stripe in position 2. Downstream of 10A GAUGE fuse.

Pin-outs are different for 6-cyl so do your research!
