4th Generation Headlamp not clear (with pics) 56k ok

After I washed my car yesterday and turn on my headlights I saw something weird. My driver side's headlamp no longer became clear enough. It looks like dirty stuff sticking on the headlamps but I just couldn't get rid of it. But my passenger side's headlamps is still fine. You can still see the actual bulb very clearly. However, the driver side becomes a bit translucent. Is there any way to fix it or I need to replace it. I am not trying to be picky but I notice it gets worsen over time. Please help... Thankyou~

Looks similar to my Paseo headlights, where the clearcoat is falling off.

i remember hearing that using some wd-40 on the headlight housing can clean some of that gunk off.

One thing maybe to consider, if you do that ^, is to get them clearbra'd afterwards ASAP.

On another note, I wonder if one could shoot them with clearcoat...

i know tooth paste works well at polishing the headlights.
It is abrasive enough that it does the trick, leaves them minty
fresh too.

I've tried a lot of products from creams to lotions and even rubbing compound. The one that worked for my gen4 was McGuires Plast X. Try that, it really works!

McGuires Plast X? Is it similar to buffer? Can we get them from Canadian Tire?
