3rd Generation Getting Tokicos but have a question

I was about to place an order for some Tokico struts, but wanted to ask you guys something first. I really need new struts, mine are gone, but will using these with my stock springs be a bad idea?! Really dont have the money to get springs right now. I know it would be a much easier job to do both at the same time, but the need for new struts NOW is greater than convenience. Just want to make sure I wont be hurting anything.

thats totally fine, tokicos are designed to work well with lowering springs but they truly are an oem replacement, so youll be fine, itll just be more work for you to tear it apart twice enjoy, I love my tokicos

you should do a quick search first and the sticky have already covered this topic. ay have said that gonig to tokico with sotck spring will shorten the strut life, some said it blew up, some said if you going lower than 2" you can't use tokico....... my advice, just get the springs and strut together, less time wasted on taking the assemble apart and you'll like the overall effect or not.

Bunthy you arent making much sense....

you say springs and struts, but just saying that, even if theyre unmacthed its just as if you did them seperate anyway. if ya get what i mean.

his struts are gone. replace them before you hit a tree.

just one more thing.... WHICH tokicos?

they will be fine with the stock springs. they may even last longer than if you had some serious lowering springs on the car.

I'm on stock springs and tokico blues. I put them in a while back and it still rides nice and firm, plus they come with a lifetime warranty. I bought a set on ebay.
