I'll accelerate fine up until 1900 rpm or so, then it just sorta sticks, won't go any further for 5 seconds maybe, then keeps on going fine. This only happens when the engine temperature is relatively cold. On occassion, it's simply stopped responding for 10 seconds maybe. There will still be resistance in the pedal, but there will be no response at all except for a little *tink* noise when I press the pedal down. My only guess was that it could be the O2 sensor, but I don't have time or money to take it to a shop. We have the equipment at school, but no hook up for Japanese made cars.

Anyone had this problem, or have any guesses on what it could be?
