a 100hp shot would be fine if your engines in good nic.

get a transmission cooler (crucial for automatics making a lot more then the standard 200hp) and engine oil cooler - cheap insurance.

I am running the ZEX Nitrous system on my 1994 V6 automatic and I have run the 55,65, 75 shots. I can tell you from what I know and have been thru, for me, the 55 shot is PLENTY. If I am at a red light and from a dead stop touch carpet, the front tires boil... and will continue to boil until 2nd gear. I did the same thing with the 65 and 75 shots... and lets just say, DAYAM!!! Also, the larger the jets, the quicker you use the juice.... duh... but it needs to be stated. Now, here is where I am in the process. I have been running the ZEX since Jan 3rd 2006. It has been cold here.. cold as in the 30's at night and 45-55 day. The BEST I have been able to get from the bottle pressure wise has been 750PSI. I say this because the "best" pressure to run the bottle is in the 900-1100psi range. That is where ZEX reccomends the pressure to be for best performance. Why am I saying this? Because, when the temps start to rise and the pressure DOES reach that point, the 55 shot will be MEGA plenty! I would not jump to the 75.. and no WAY on 100. I have replaced the fuel pump in my Camry with the Walbro 190lph unit, and it was insurance for the system. This is the way I see it. You have to tap the fuel line on the HIGH pressure side. I tapped my fuel line between the "out" side of the fuel filter and the "in" side of the fuel rail. I have posted photos of all my work if you wish to see. The system is activated at WOT only. Here is where I had issue.... if your at WOT, then the FPR is basically off and you need MAX pressure for the injectors. If your bleeding off fuel pressure for an external fuel supply, then what is that doing to the fuel rail pressure when you need it the highest? Ahhhhhh....... I did not believe the stock unit was able to keep up. That is all. Anyway, thoughts for you to ponder.

P.S. Any questions you might have, feel free to PM me, and I will be happy to snap a photo, or answer in any way!

Yeah stay safe. The 1mz's can handle more than the 5s'. I would stay around 50-75. That should get your q/t to about the high 13's low 14's depending on tranny and elevation.

Thats about right..... I am going to run an 1/8th mile here, if the weather ever gets right and they open the track, but from the simulation sw I have, it LOOKS like I will run 8.9 - 9.2ish in the 1/8th..... on the screen at least!

Yeah and since the V6's have more torque (especially with nitrous), the tire compound (and brand) and tire pressure will make a HUUUUGE difference

Found a good bit of info...

This is about true.... thinking about it and all...

" For most applications, nitrous is used at a rate of 1 lb per minute of use for a 20-25hp gain"

I have a digital scale I purchased to weight the bottle full and empty. And, I keep a mental record (as best I can) on the time I use it... and this is in the ball park.

Running the 55shot... take 2lb/min so... that is about right.. I get... about... 4 minutes... total time... out of a bottle w/55 shot and it was like... 2½ - 3 min @ 75....

And, another thing....

And, this is for ANYONE interested in doing this... The local speed shop I fill at charges $4.00/lb to fill the bottle. This can get a BIT pricey if your like me and like the "surge".. yes, I am a nitrous addict, I admit it. So, I started to REALLY look and ask questions when the guy fills my bottle. Turns out, I made a few calls and found a welding shop that will rent me (2) two 50lb cylinders @ $5.00 a month... so $10.00/month for the steel, and charge me $1.00/lb for the Nitrous Plus in bulk. Now, I e-bayed a ZEX 82121 refill station... and I will be filling my OWN bottles WHEN I WANT and at a rate of $1.00/lb a reduction $30.00 bux a bottle... yoou can see... 100lbs = $400.00 at shop or $110.00 (with rent) at home.
And, the 100# will last me..... 2-3 months... over the course of a year...I will save BIG, and if I advertize, I could sell on the side to a few select folks, and MAKE cash.... think about it... you sell 30#'s and your PAID FOR THE MONTH and you have 70# to yourself.. sell.. 60#'s and you get the next batch FREE!!! Hmmmmmmmmmmm.....

Just an FYI.. that is the deal I worked out here... If I can do this, ANYONE can.. I am not that special.
