i used the second ones in my gauges when i had my Gen3, i also put foil inside the gauges to spread and enhance the light a little bit more (do this with care, as you dont want to short circuit anything )
Both of those you posted pics of don't work well, the lowest doesnt spread the light
even, and the up most would do better in a flashlight i other words to concentrated.

You sure this will fit ?????? looks big from here it says on ebay "60mm total height"
well that big assed one clearly says 3156/7, so its a brake light or similar.
personally ive tried the second one you posted. its pretty good, but not very white. plus i think i missed a green one behind the PRND21 cluster on my gen 3 so it still has a green tinge in the middle.
You could mod teh 3156s to work but they are 2 exp for me to try with.
SnakeEyes - where did you get your red ones? I just had one stop working. The people on Ebay are a little expensive compared to the blue/amber/whjite ones.

I really want to make my car Gen 3 gauges all BLUE, now what is the cheapeast way to do it...can i just buy the clear bulb and color it with high temperture resistance????

^ cheapest way is to buy blue incadesant bulbs at the automotive store
Ok thanks but does that compared with LED bulbs so they come in BLUE color, also what is the right measurement for the gen3?? i want to replace it so it look all BLUE.
