Lubricating IAC

What exactly are you supposed to lubricate after cleaning the throttle body? Is it okay to use white lithium grease to do this?

As far as i know i have never heard of the throttle body needing any lubrication. It would just get washed off by gas anyways. Anything that would have needed lubing the engineers designed with a nylon bearing etc.

what does this topic have to do with the question? the throttle body is self lubing, the oil mist from the pcv return keeps it from sticking.

the IAC valve has bearings.

Gas does not go through the throttle body. The throttle body and IAC motor will be lubricated by the oily vapors that come through the PCV system.

I have tried to get rid of as much oily crank case vapour as possible.
On the throttle plate hindge, you can put a drop of clean oil (LPS1 or similar light oil).

Whatever the case, DO NOT USE silicone or carb cleaner with silicone for lubrication, that was good for the carb, but the silicone, no matter the viscosity, will migrate and deposit onto other sensors both up and down stream and give inaccurate readings, especially the O2 sensors.
