Original tires?

Does anyone know the original brand and model of the tires that were on the '92 Camry V6 LE? Just wondering.

I believe they are Michelins XH4's, with a treadwear of like 580. Smooth ride, horrible in rain, but lasts forever.

I'll check on my car tomorrow as I'm still using them! (just for winter though)

I had a '96 Camry V6 before and that had Michelin Energy XV4s. I have no complaints about those tires.

I think mine were Dunlop SP9xxx

Why are there different tires for Camrys? Did some dealerships decide to change the tires?

Yup...I'm serious. I acquired my car in 1999 from my uncle with only 45,000km on it. The tires were still in perfect condition...but since then I got 2 sets of rims after so I've only used the stock for 3 winters since and that's it.

My Toyos have a treadwear of 420 and are rated to last about 100,000km so could imagine wht 580 would last!
