Well I took my car in today for a general check-up since it had almost 100,000 miles on it. I also took the fuel filter and PCV valve I had on hand.. since I thought I could replace them when I did some maintenance about a week ago. No dice. It took him like 2 minutes. Then he looked my car over and called me and said everything was in excellent condition except my transmission need some work. It was leaking...which is my fault, because that was one of the first things I messed with.

So he flushed and drained it and changed the filter. Wasn't too expensive and the car now has a clean bill of health. The only thing is that it feels sluggish now... I looked and the only weird thing was the PCV valve which looks like it sits too high and doesn't fit right. I think I'm gonna go to the dealer and get another one. Would that cause that sort of problem?
Oh and he also recommended I go buy a Teflon additive and put it in with my next oil change? Anyone done that before?
Thanks
ryan... and more mods on the way once I start back to school and get my schedule worked out. There are some guys at my University that could help me.
