I was wondering if it would be a good idea to spray paint the inside of my car like the door handles, air vents, just the little stuff on the dash, etc...
i 've seen decent work on spray paint stuff...but you need patience to make it come out right

Brake lights aren't broken, I just don't brake.
--Can honestly go to a parts counter and ask for brake shoes for the front brakes.

one coat will last forever. doesnt scrach (unless you run a nail onit) and doesnt come off from abuse...
BUT
costs about 2x more then hobby paint and 5x more then cheap canned paint.

Sorry if this sounds kinda stupid, im new at this, but by car paint do you mean the shit you put on the outside of your car??? or is there a special spray paint thingy that goes specifically for the inside.

There is only 1 thing you have to think carefully about
Paint has a thickness. Some of your trim bits are TIGHTLY pushed into place <-- air vents. This will definitely cause a problem if your paint is too thick. And i wouldnt put it on the door handle as they are touched everytime you open the door. Unless you are willing to touch it up every so often, i'd skip that bit. Or put it on thicker but that causes the problem i said above =P
yeah i mean exterior car touch up paint, in a spray can.
that shit lasts forever. i used it to paint my cd rom drives, one thin coat and theres no signs of scratches or fading on the eject button at all after 2-3 years =)
the paints designed for abuse =)

Or perhaps you can consider vinyl dye. I haven't used it myself so I can't give much info, but I've heard of its application in the computer modding scene.
vinyl dye is paint. works too but if you dont let it cure before you start using it (leave it in the sun for a couple of days) its gonna be messy.

Strangley enough i had the same problem but have recently solved it. I purchased a air brush and small electric compressor at my local ace hardware and picked up some of the stuff my friend recomended. This stuff is great and apparently won't chip off or anything. He even has it on his door handles and i could have sworn it was stock. It is sold by the quart through parasol Inc. online. I beleive they also have a vinly dye i will be trying on my dash. I have a tan interior that i am changing to black so i will let you know how it works.
yeah its good becasue it seeps in a millimeter or 2 so even if you do scratch the part its still the same color underneath

I painted several pieces of trim on my civic with a can of ford silver touch-up. The results are good, no chipping at all after 4 years. I put down a coat of non-metal surface primer for good adhesion before I applied the paint. I would like to do the same for my Cam, but I dunno what color would look good with a beige interior?
