Hey guys... as some of you may know... i am junking the sedan that has been my chariot for about 5 years now... I have been through soooo much with it... everything from tints to audio, to an engine and tranny swap to a turbo.
I have decided to remove the engine, and all other valuable parts and to rebuild the 1mz with a brand new block, crank, pistons, MLS head gasket, all new seals, ported heads, and some other goodies... This will all be swapped into a 95 coupe. Bodywork and paint will be done along with a rmm lip, CF invader hood, CF trunk, and some other stuff...
Anyway... here are some pics of the gutted chassis, along with the rear axle assembly and suspension, and the front engine/tranny assembly, axles and hubs... the engine work will begin in the next week, and hopefully in 3 weeks i can swap the 1mz in.
And here is a photoshopped pic (badly done by me) of the coupe with the invader hood, CF trunk, and RMM lip. I am leaning toward the nissan altima dark charcoal paint... this light silver color is close to the stock color of the coupe right now and not what it will be upon completion.
selling any parts?? cuz i could really use some for the 3vz-fe such as the valve cover with oil fill, better y-pipe or even the piping you used for the turbo id be willing to purchase...the tranny whatever

So what are you doing with that tub? It looks too clean to junk, but maybe I can't see what's wrong w/ it. But It looks alot cleaner than my bondoed, hail damaged tub...
sad to see a camry look like that but i know all those parts will find a good home soon (to the camry coupe)...GL with the project and cant wait to see the finished results
You should make like... a cool BBQ or something out of that shell.
If i was a redneck, and my father wasnt running for state senate, i would.
The real reason i am ditching it is because the electrical is all fucked up... over the years ive done so much wiring, it has just been chopped up everywhere. Other than that, there was a fire once, and the ebrake shit got burned. Also It melted most of the carpet and some interior pieces so nothing fit right... I just want a clean start. Using all the skills that i have aquired practicing on this car, I know pretty much every nut and bolt on the car, so I have an excellent idea of what to do now to make it clean and neat.
I have a lot of stuff that i will be selling from the interior and exterior.. I will make a list and revitalize my partout thread that died a month ago... Mybe start a new one.
