Ok so for x-mas I got a set of Dropzone springs. I couldn't install them myself (no tools, knowledge) and was quoted a few rediculious prices for installs. A member here on TN did me a favor and installed them for $50. I only had springs installed because my OEM struts only have like 8-9k miles on them. Everything was fine and dandy, or so I thought.
Today I went to get an alignent done on the car (due to the lowering) and to also have an endlink replaced that was damaged during the spring install. I dropped my car off and no more then 10 mins later I get a call telling me that my suspension is so fucked up they couldn't do and aligment and i'd have to take it to a shop that deals with customizations.
They told me the the back of the car is sitting way to low compared to the front of the car. I told him that there's a big wheel gap in camrys to begin with so even though it's been lowered there's still gonna be a gap.
He told me that even so, "EACH OF THE 4 CORNERS IS AT A DIFFERENT RIDE HEIGHT." I couldn't believe it when he told me. These aren't the exact measurments but he said the FL was @ 4 1/4" FR was @ 4 3/4" RL was @ 2 1/8" and RR was @ 2 3/5". Like I said there not exact but basically he said the whole left side is lower then the right and the rear is 2" lower then the front. I thought if anything the right rear would be lower due to the broken endlink but I guess not.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before? I thought the back seemed a little low, even for Dropzones (-finger gap with 215/45/17 tires) and the front still has like a 4 finger gap.
I went to a Custom shop down here afterwards and am awaiting a call back from them..They called and emailed pictures of all 4 corners directly to Dropzone.
This sux cause I'm moving 100miles away this sat and don't wanna drive the car that long if it's this messed up.
Grrrrrrr I swear all the bad things in life happen to me.

Yes, but your still riding 2 inches lower than what your oem struts are used to. I have the dropzones and im yet to have any trouble... Had them for about 4 or 5 months now.
I got the alignment at Firestone and they could not make any guarentee's as "Our computer has the adjustments already in it and we can't compensate for the drop." "But can't you manually change the setting for 1" lower?" "No, it's already in the computer."
I highly doubt they were installed wrong as the person that did them knew what they were doing. Hit me up on AIM and I'll tell you what to go look at to see. You know the name.

yeah ive taken my lowered car to belle tire and had it aligned with no problems at all, ive even told them its lowered and it doesnt seem to bother them. i guess see what this shop says, but 4 finger gap in the front? that sounds really not right
sounds like the springs may not be seated properly
either that, or your struts are sooo messed up that they aren't rebounding to full strength either, and are all stopping at different levels
My struts are less then 3yrs old and like I said only have 8-9k on them. I can't possibly see how they could get so messed up that quickly. Never know I guess.

I guess it's more like 3, 3 1/2. Guess my fingers are just small lol
Thanks for the replies guys...Since tomorrow and Saturday will be hetic because of the move, I will look into this sometime next week.
I called the shop this afternoon and they still hadn't heard back from Dropzone. They knew they were getting pics as soon as the shop owner got off the phone with them this morning too. Sketchy...
Here's a few pics of what i'm dealin' with:
Doesn't look it, but it's slightly tucked.

i would check the spring seat rubber things.. remember the springs sit on a rubber bit, then on the spring perch...
as for shops not being able to make the alignment remember the alignment tool has sensors that need to be able to see each other acrss the car.. and if youre too low, either the body/bodykit or something gets in the way of the sensors so they cant do it (the big arm things that stick out of the wheel clamp device need to be able to point to each other)...or something.

I just checked the front springs out. It seems when turned all the way to the right I can feel that the coil ends and sits at the little lip on the bottom of the strut, but when turned all the way to the left I can't really feel anything.

mines dropped just as much as yours????? Same drop, look at mine rexpectively to yours. I have 18's as well. If you look at a stock cam, the front sits higher than the rear, hence lower each one 2 inches, that half an inch to an difference is going to seem like a lot.
