USA thinking of getting TRD springs...

I"m thinking of getting some TRD springs for my car this summer, so it's not as floaty on the highway. The only potential issue I can see is that the exhaust pipe hangs down so low in the back of the car. I know its not just mine, because I've seen this on other camry's, as well. I have scraped this piece a couple of times, just in the last three months, once in a car wash, and another time going up the drive to Skyline. Any fixes for this?

The only fix for this is to re-do your exhaust. Cut off the pipe behind the axle and weld on a new pipe. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm dropped on Tein S. Techs, and they drop the car lower than the TRD/Eibach springs do (1.7F/1.5R vs. 1.4F/1.1R). I've never scraped the part of the pipe that hangs down. The only thing I've scraped twice was the very tip of the bottom of the muffler while trying to go up steep driveways.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

I don't recall driveways in Florida being that steep, (lived in Melbourne, FIT baby!) I am dropped on S. Tech Teins as well and I don't have trouble getting on and out of my driveway. However when I hit potholes, it hurts a lot more...

just get a new hanger redone for your exhaust that will tuck it up higher

Thanks. If I end up getting the springs, I'll get the exhaust redone, too.
