Question Auto to Manual Swap shifter options?

I have a gen 2 and i know that a shifter from a manual gen 2 camry would work for the swap..but would a shifter from any of the following work 89 celica alltrac or 91 celica gts?

i use a 91 celica shifter base in my gen 3 camry... it should work for you. the holes may not line up, mine dont, but you may have better luck with a gen 2... but you can always make something work if it doesnt bolt right up. the cable length and everything else will be fine though.

like i said, it most likely wont fit perfectly, but it will work. the only thing was that the throws were a little different... the actual post angles back far towards the rear. the camry one is more in the center.
