the paint on the front bumper and spoiler on my 95 camry are beginning to show alot of fading. is there anything i can do to try to reverse the effects of the fade, i have tried waxing it and it helped it a little shortly, but eventually it gets looking bad again. thanks.

I have a 94 and my bumpers are fading also. I had a friend tell me there was changes to the paint process and paints they used at this time. Environmental stuff and all. He told me there is no other way, but to repaint.

Try using some 3M fine rubbing/cutting compound on it.

I've used it on friends red gen 3 with oxidized paint (the bumpers were pinkish looking instead of red).

Autoparts stores should have it. I've seen it at Kragens and Autozone.

Ha wth, I was in Marietta for a week over a week ago. I went to Dave and busters everyday for a meeting. Anyway, my stock bumpers had regular fading I think atleast from all the other gold camry's I've seen, the rear and front bumpers fade to silverish. I dont know if it has something to do with it being plastic.

Ah, so you have that problem too. I think its normal. Atleast I'm seen it on several Gen 4's and 3's. Probably the sun fades the colors on plastic easier

just wsih it diddnt start peeling and chipping eventually, i hope my bumpers dont ever get that far gone.
