SE into LE?

Quote:
The SE, which was introduced as a late '92, was an enthusiast's version of the Camry and had the V6 engine, performance suspension, larger tires on unique alloy wheels, a quicker steering ratio and a numerically higher final drive ratio. What all this meant is that the SE cornered flatter and accelerated faster than any other Camry. Indeed, it was a worthy competitor to Nissan's superb Maxima SE, and finally gave Toyota fans a sporty sedan they could call their own. To set it apart from the other Camrys, the SE had sport seats, a rear spoiler, and blacked- out window, door handle and mirror trim.

Now, could these higher ratios, performance suspension, quicker steering be swapped into my LE?

guess so......but it'd just be better to go aftermarket then....cuz even tho they made these things for hte se, their parts will be just as old as yours....and more than likley, even more worn out than yours, since when somebody buys an SE, it's cuz they usually like to drive....

for suspension why not just get upgraded springs and shocks and then if u want just get a tower bar, and a whiteline rear sway bar... those alone improve the performance of ur suspension...

as for taller gears hmm u got a v6 i assume??
a taller gear ratio would be good for top end speed and power... which ur v6 already has anyways.. if u got a 5spd... if u got auto then dunno how to do it...

i think its cheaper to go aftermarket than go all toyota parts ( new) and get ripped off and minus the performance of aftermarket BTW SE is basically a sport version of a DX...
