For you 2nd gen guys who were wanting to know

Ok for all you 2nd gen guys I finally got my car back together. For those of you who don't know what I did I put a mild built head(TRD valve springs, port and polished exhaust ports, stainless steel intake valves, 3 angle valve job, milled head surface, TRD metal head gasket)along with a port and polished jap speed header, port and polished intake manifold, replaced the pistons rings and rod bearings, oil cooler from a 5sfe and re-custimized my fuel pressure regulator along with putting a fuel pressure gauge on it. Well when I first started the car up and let it idle for a few min it wasn't running smoothly and I looked at the fuel pressure and it was at 20psi so I moved the screw to change the pressure but it wasn't changing so I was like what the hell. I went and drove it and because of the low pressure it just had no power. So I came back and remembered I need to reset the ecu so I pulled the efi fuse and then saw my o2 sensor wiring was a little loose so I fixed that put the fuse back in and started the car and that made it run smoother and I went to change the fuel pressure and it changed this time so I put it at 35psi let it idle for a while then went for a test drive and man the power was so much better. From all the things I did I can tell a great difference on the low end and on the top end. It doesn't matter what RPM I am at I can punch it and it has power and just flys. I can't get too hard on it for a while since I need to let the engine break in but from what I can do man it is nice. Once the break in period is over I am going to mess with the fuel pressure since I have a gauge now and see what I can get with just the regulator. Also for anyone who is interested I am starting work on my spare head to sell. I have one exhaust port completely ported and polished and have started on another port. If anyone is interested in buying this head please email me or im me of what you want done to it and we will talk about price.

Actually all that work didn't cost me that much at all. I did all the labor except the milling of the head but everything else I did even the porting and polishing of the head, manifold and header. Also as we speak I am putting on my webiste the prices of the things I put in my head packages. I will let everyone know when I have put it all up.
