How thick

Hey guys i am about to finish gathering my parts for the turbo setup i have to fabricate an adapter to go betwieen turbo and manifold, also with my wastegate flange, and was wondering.... what thickness of metal should i use??? i have some 3/8" sheets, not being used, would this thickness work? or should i just do it the hard expensive way, and have someone else make one for me? (which i dont wana do)

I would say that 3/8 should be sufficient. But what do I know.

3/8" is plenty thick. the span should be kept to a minimum to be strong.

what material how fatigue resistant (thermal and stress) is it?
and what gasket do you plan on using?
