Australia Exhaust system in Melbourne, Australia

Hey guys I'm wanting to get an exhaust system put on my 99 1MZ, ive been suggested a 2 1/4'' performance system from the rear of the cat converter. But I ideally want extractors. Is there anywhere in Melbourne any of you guys reccomend for getting extractors etc made?

Done a heap of work for me, including my custom extractors. Good pricing too.

I assume extractor in Aus=Header in US. What did they charge and was it worth it , any noticable power increase? I have the Greddy Evo catback on now.

thanks

i don't think it'll fit the Gen5 though. Even though it is 1MZ. I gotta find a place that'll do it here. =/

Yep, we call them extractors here. The guy made them up for me for AUD$800. On my engine (2VZ-FE) they were VERY worth the while. The 2VZ manifold design is terrible and quite restrictive. The engine also had a "droney" flat sound to it with the manifold (althought at the time i like it!). After the extractors, power increases alot, it breate's better, revs bloody quick for a stock NA V6...and the sound is much nicer. More bubly and lumpy, but hollow in a way. I really like it. On other engine, i don't think you would see AS MUCH difference after, since Toyota changed there stock manifold design on the 3VZ, as was carreid right through until the current engine. People here have said that on later engines (3VZ and 1MZ) you notice more difference in changing the YPipe.
