3rd Generation Unbelievable, can't pull a fuse out!

Not sure how or why, but trying to pull the ABS fuse out on a 1993 is like trying to pull the sword from the stone. I almost destroyed the entire fuse box trying to get it out with pliers and screwdrivers. It's still there, laughing at me.

Any tips?

For those persistant buggers, I use needle nose pliars, gripping the top of the and pulling upwards. There is enough room to use them. If it breaks, just use the same pliars to remove the legs.
