there is a thread involved with resetting the ecu using the diagnostic port. This may not work and you would have to check your ecu at Autozone or somethin. Hope this helps.

i will check the ecu at autozone... but i am still curious why just changing battery cables would do that? i know we removed teh fuse box and could it be that? just a blown fuse or loose?

trying putting it in drive, jam on the gas, then slam on the brake.
try it a couple of times and see if the light goes off.

Have the code scanned first.

Then we'll know were to start looking.

scan the code for sure. getting the code for ABS may be a bit tricky so good luck.

If you are thinking about fuses so much why not just go out and check it? Takes 17 seconds to do.

welcome to TN.

Does your camry actually have Traction Control or is it just the light blinking?
Also did this happen after doing anything special?

The first thing i'd do is detatch the battery for 15 minutes to see if that clears it up.

I ran the code inside and it came up blank. I took off the negative battery terminal and the light is still on. I went to auto zone and they don't have the right scanner for the engine compartment hook up, any suggestions on where I could get one?

gwar yeah you're going to need to the one in the engine bay the.

but you dont disconnect the negative terminal...that doesnt do much. You need to disconnect the positive terminal.

Camralon: look in your engine bay for a small black box with a cover that says Diagnostic.
