Gen5 oil filter, where is it now?

i can't find where the oil filter is on my '06. in my old '98, it was in the front in plain sight. can someone please tell me where to look? thnx. peace out...

V6 is sticking foward on the front of the engine, in the middle. 4Cly is recessed next to the oil pan on the passenger side of the car.

on a 6 cyclinder it is in front of the car. right below the exhaust manifold/heatshield.
on a 4 cyclinder it is on the front left, next to the oil pan, recessed into the block.

not at all. 4 cyclinders are the easiest to change. its the 4runner oil filters that are bitches to get to.
