Question Brembo Sport Rotors, what pads should I use???

I have cross drilled Brembo Sport Rotors in the front of my 1999 Camry. I'm getting a high pitch squeak. I tore my brakes apart last week and lubed up everything but the pads. It still squeaks so I know its the pads. I've had these Brembo rotors & pads for about a year and it started squeaking about 4 weeks ago. What do you recommend for pads that I can use with these rotors? And would different pads even improve my braking? Thanks.

You had the pads for about a year? were the pads and rotors brand new when they were installed? That would insure proper break in.

Anyways its been a year i recommend getting some Akebono Ceramic brake pads. No brake dust, high temp fade resistent, long lasting, quiet, and dustless. Its what i personally use in front with my cross drilled brembos. I need to get something for the rears as my rears make noise... (i dont have akebono in the rear). DO NOT get the RAVEN pads from Midas...those are what are causing the noise. My personal mechanic recommends to use Toyota OEM parts as these cars tend to break faster if you dont. At any rate i just feel the OEM pads work best.

You can go for Hawk Pads too if you have a little more money to spend.

I've encountered the same problem after installing cross-drilled rotors. I simply changed my brake pads to PBR Ceramic pads. The hard surface on cross-drilled rotors require a hard surface brake pad. Also check the metal plates that go on, Those are for noise reduction and one is for detecting your brake pad tread and squeals when the tread is low. i'm 100% sure if it's not the brake pad it's those metal plates making the sounds.
