If the curb rash is on your rear wheels that means you took a corner to soon, and on the front wheels could be from backing out of a parking space next to a curb and cutting it to hard.

Gotta agree with FrescoBob! They are probably on your rear wheels. If you look on the tire(s) that it came off of you will probably see scuff marks in the same location. Watch out for them curbs!

What, mine don't have any curb rash...

If course they are alloy wheels so the tire takes the smaller blows ...

And I only bought the car a couple months ago so ... yeah.

I have never hit the curb in my life! Okay, maybe once. But that little rash you see in the pic is the wheel that has the most damage.

are you teh only person that drives the car.
do you do all service yourself, do you install your tires your self, do you do your own alignments etc etc.

Really I am not trying to be an ass I was jsut joking earlier about the not being able to drive. Maybe it is someone else that has done it to your car. Are you amrried do you ahve kids that might drive it.

I mean there is no two ways about it, taht is curb rash. I would be willing to bet it was on the right hand(passenger)side of the car. You can see how on the spoke jsu tot eh left of the top of the picture there is very little damage but it gets more and more like you were turning into the curb more as you drove. Or whoever it was that was driving the car when it happened.

My car is an 11 year old car so i'm dying to know how the previous owner kept the wheels so nice so long...

Anyway, like Cyorke said that is curb rash. With hubcaps like that you could graze a curb and not even feel it.
