Hi guys, can anyone tell me what's the proper air pressure for 215/45/17 tires?

ummm doesnt it say on the sidewall? Also you'll need to say what type/model of tyre you got too.

Usually all tyres are set at 32psi. (I run my 18s on 40psi ) That'll depend on your road conditions ie wet/dry and if you like spirited driving =)

I don't think I see any recommended PSI range marked on sidewall from tire manufacture, I only see the maxiumn PSI allowed (40 PSI) on the tires. Anyway, I have Bridgestone Potenza RE71 (2) and Yokohama AVS ES 100 (2) for front and back. Kumho ECSTA 711 for spare. Hope this would help.

well over here in oz, (we have those tyres too) it is recommended that they be ran at 32psi.

Overinflating a tyre = the middle gets bald faster

Underinflating = the outer edge goes faster.
