I just got some new tires today for a birthday gift and wanted to show em, also for some feedback of peoples opinions.
I dont know exactly what rims they are ( i got then for free off a wrecked Infinity a few months ago) but they are 16" Konigs. It had some HUGE Pirellis on them so i couldnt lower it. Ive had these Dropzone springs in my garage for ever just waiting to go on, so i decided to get new tires. I had 17" Konigs w/ Khumo Ecsta SPTs on before and i loved them. the ride was smooth, quiet and handeled like a dream. with 420 tread wear and AA traction, you cant go wrong. i decided to buy em for my rims. as i said, i dont know exactly what rim - dont know offset or width, but they just barely clear the brakes whichs them look bigger.
I'm going to put the springs on tomorrow. It's going to be a 2" drop. F+B
cant wait to see what those springs will do for you! Then it will clean that ugly gap between your fender and wheels. Post pics when completed. cant wait to see results.
Springs will be amazing
But painting calipers with your Brembo rotors, even BETTER looking.
Heres the results of my Calipers and Rotors. Before and After Painting them both.
I didn't want to look like I had brand name calipers by just painting them, so I just went glossy black. Just wanted to get rid of that ugly metal color/Rust color.
Ummm are they the right diameter compared to stock? Coz they look hella small! If they are smaller, you are going to clock up heaps of excess miles on the odo....
well, i planned on getting the exhaust, kit, and springs only to find there hard to find for a good price, and I'm on a budget. not that it would matter, but I do have a trd radiator cap. I dont like false advertisement, but i think it looks pretty decent, i do plan on geting the exhaust and maybe the kit if I find it for the right price.
