I used the TSX projectors. They quite easy to do because they are not motorized.

you can use basically any projectors- most projectors are small enough to fit in the housing

but for real, you have chop it up anyway, so even if there are bigger ones, they'll be fine too

I have integra halogen projectors and mercedes hid projectors

How is it done? I'm talking about physically getting the projector in the stock housing.

You open up the housing, then dremel the back off, then bolt on a new projector?

to open the headlight u have to put them in the oven for like 8-10 mins until golden crisp.. lol j/k.. but they do go in the oven to melt the seal around the housing

yea, if you search for the headlight sanding thread, it gives you specific instruction to get your very own easy bake headlights.

haha I found it in one of my old bookmarks. http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t22858.html

But the majority of the image links are dead. The information is still there at least. Just heat up the oven to 350 to 400F, shut it off and put your headlights in for 5 mins. FYI with my gen 4 headlights, I had to do it twice before the glue started to become workable.

Thanks pk_kk! It was a big project for me, but it was well worth it, I'd say.

Yea i have Gen 4.5 Angel eyes laying at home for the longiest time. But it's a huge head-ach to do a Gen 4.5 Conversion. Nothing seems to fir not the Corner lights not the headlights or the DRL ... Kinda annoying.

X5 projectors are actually quite small I believe. A large one I can think of is the LS430 projector.

Yeah man. That's my fully customized gen 4 headlights. The angel eyes, I crafted myself from an online tutorial I found, using LEDs and a (curtain) blind rod. As for lining it up, I just use hand and eye judgments haha.

nope....you can really only tell when the lights are off or it's during the day and you see the size of the projector and the shroud
