Does anyone know the stock flow of the 1mz headers to exhaust? Im having a Y pipe ----> exhaust system made for my supercharger setup and i need to know the numbers... can anyone help me? Also, i know on some engines there are different codes for the same engine... (Example H22a1 and H22a4, B18a, B18c, ect) which sometimes can distinguish things like closed or open deck, and other small differences. are all 1mz's the same? Or is there a difference between the ones found in the gen 3.5 cam, gen 4 cam, solara, ect... Any help would be cool. Thanks
Are you in a rush? Megan Racing is about to come out with headers/Y-pipe for the 1MZ within a month or so... If not.. then nah.. i don't know the answer to your question...

why do you have to know the numbers unless you're just giving specifications to a shop?
won't you be bringing your car right in to get the work done? if so, then they'll custom everything while it's there and if it's a reputable shop, they will smooth out the flow, widen the y-pipe restrictions points, and use better collectors, and then tune it for you as well
and this is especially so for a s/c application- chances are you'll actually lose power with custom headers/y-pipe/exhaust until you tune it properly

i already have my tuning figured out. I just wanted to be able to tell the guy im trying to get to do it for me the stock numbers. He is one of the most reputable fabricators for honda header's out there. I dont think i would wanna roll with megan racing... depending on the price there are other things to do besides header systems that cost less and add more power.
yea... but idk about megan. Im not hoping on any band wagon its just that ive known people, good friends, who had megan racing headers on their honda setups, and were not happy. Cracked header's, semi decent gains. I would rather spend a little more and have header's fabbed to flow better and put down better numbers....
