My guess is to pull on them or pry it out also.

On a 91 Celica, you just pull on the the plastic area and the whole thing comes out...no screws. Just clips IIRC.

What is the thing above the vents on the right?

no its not just pulled out, drew took this piece out. i cant remember everything he did but i think he said there was a screw but to get to it you have to remove the radio....double check with him...

take off the plastic trim for the radio.,

unbolt it

remove the phillips screw thats under there and it will pop out..

i have a special tool for working at 90degree angles and it works SOO DAMN NICE for this vent lol.

Or you can learn the hard way and "gently" pry the sides with a flat screwdriver and break the trim piece into two like i did... Then I discovered the screw underneath... Thank God for ebay on that one.....

yea get the radio and all that stuff out

pry the piece out and also go from underneath and remove the screw holding it to the dash, then pry upwards towards the window and its out

word of advice dont put the screw back in, i didnt it stays in just fine with the clips
