First 6 month service

What services are provided at no charge for the first 6 month warranty service?

Other than oil and filter, what services are we required to pay for at the first 6 month service?

It's not time for a tire rotation yet. I would do that at 6,000 to 7,500 miles. As far as the air filter, I would check the owners manual; most Toyota manuals I have seen don't suggest changing the air filter until 30,000 miles. I think that all is needed besides the oil and filter change is to check the air pressure in the tires and a check of all other fluids. It's not necessary to go to a dealer for this. You could do it yourself or go to an independent repair shop. If you don't have an independent shop that you feel comfortable with, ask friends or relatives for a recommendation.

your first service should really be at about 5000 miles, where i would rotate the tires, inspect the air filter (depends on where you drive your car at), invest in some BG MOA Friction modifier (would recommend a can every oil change), and just a general inspection of everything

AFAIK, I have to have to bring the car in twice per year.
I do not drive 5000 miles in a year.

During the warranty, I'm going to go to the dealer.
Not worth the risk of something going wrong.

When I purchased the car, I was informed that the cost of oil and filter change, as well as State inspection, would be less than at the auto service place I used to go to.

In my case, it works out well, as I purchased the car in September 2005 and my car has to be inspected in the month of my birthday (March), so I can do the required maintenance and inspection all at once. Actually, I think that there's a 1 month grace period for th inspection, but it's easier to do everything at once.
