Gen5 Clunking noise

Ok, so the problem is when I come to a complete stop i hear a "clunk" come from the front right tire. When I roll backwards and stop completely, I can't hear the noise. It's only when I'm in drive and I stop completely when I hear the clunk noise. Also, I was only going about 5 mph when I stopped. Does anybody know what this could be?

if u have lowering springs, that is mostlikely the problem. the spring rotates in the cup while you drive and then snaps back in place at a stop. had that problem on my old mazda. if not a spring issue, which it does sound like, it could be a cv joint (on the driveshaft) but is unlikely.
