Keep in mind that cleaning out the boots and replacing them might be more expensive than replacing the axle as a whole. Labor is far more expensive when the dude is trying to clean out all the dirt and crud from the boot and refilling with grease. Simplier to spend like two minutes replacing axle as well as cheaper, from my own experience of two boots.
