My car is about 58K right now. I am coming up on the 60K interval and would like to have some suggestions on what i should do. From what i have read. This is what i came up with:
unless youre getting $10/plug iridiums, they arent THAT expensive. if youre that worried, take em out and look at em. if they need replacing, do so. if not, put em back in. as for what all to do, check the book in the glove comparment. theres a whole slew of things they usually check, timing belt/chain, every fluid in there (PS, brakes, oil, tranny, diff, basically every test that can be done is done at 60k

"You don't get to judge me for how I fix what you break"
I called Toyota to make an appnt today and they said that the 60K package will cost about $400. Does that sound right? I'll probably have a talk with them b/c i just changed my oil....and don't need another one. Air filter is K&N.....don't need that.....other than that everything else could be changed i guess.

1. Coolant flush: Drain, flush with water. Put in antifreeze (undiluted! not the diluted kind !!!) = $5
2. PCV valve: pull it out and check it. How? Shake it, if it clicks its ok (and this will probably be the case, i have never seen a clogged one even on my nissan truck with 300k miles). Reinstall. Cost = 0
3. Power steering flush: Ha ha. That dealer is tryingto sell you a bill of goods. Got a turkey baster? and some PS fluid? Baster = $1 fluid = $5. Suck out reservoir with baster. Top up. Run engine for a minute. repeat once or twice more. Ps is flushed.
4. So far so good. But if youve got a 4 with a timingbelt, it needs to be changed now. If you have an 02 or later Camry with a 4 cylinder, (i cant tell from your post) you probably have a timing CHAIN lucky you. Which doesnt need changing ever unless it breaks. (not likely if you change your oil at 3000).
5. If you have a V6 engine you can go to 90,000 and then the timing belt needs changing.

Stupid question, but where is the PCV valve on a 2002 V6 Camry?
