Side mirror glass replacement

I purchased a complete mirror assembly for my 1996 Camry..Wrong color of course. After looking at it not sure how the glass is removed from housing, anyone know how its done? Thanks.

Have to ask... why remove the glass? I'd tape and paint. But I think the glass is double sided sticky taped.

theres prolly a ball joint behind it, so it should pull off with some force.

I know in the Gen 5, the mirror isn't taped, but has 4 clips to snap onto.

A follow up on removing glass/mirror, mirror is held on by two snaps at bottom and two clips at top.
1.Tilt mirror max up
2. lift up from bottom useing both hands ,once both clips on bottom have released slide mirror down.
if lifted too high the upper clips will break.
3. easy 5 min job once you know how.
