Timing change

So my car with its newer engine (3vz-fe), lack of connected knock sensors, and many mods and all (no piggy back ) have had a lil timing issue, i found while it was in limp mode i had to raise the #1 cylander to its peak posistion and instead of lining up the cams exactly with the markers i had to rotate clockwise probably ten degrees to operate the best while the distributor was just about in the middle of its exremities. Everything is PP'd and all that fun stuff along with ACIS mods and lots of other goodies so my air flow will be much higher than stock. Feul system for now is stock i plan on getting bigger injectors soon. But for now i need to reconnect my knock sensors so my computer will operate the engine appropriately.

my question is, would it be a good idea to align the cams to stock posistion or keep them slightly rotated clockwise about 10 degrees or so from peak posistion of #1 cylander
