Well Ive been fighting this for a long time, but Im strongly thinking of selling the camry. The only downside is, is that the thing only has about 70,000 miles on it, and runs great. Not to mention I picked it up for $3500.
It was a great car, but its power is lacking badly, and virtually unmodable performance wise aside from all custom work. I just want something a little more sporty.
If you want a one of a kind car, do custom work and stand out amongst everyone. If you want a typical modded kind of car that everyone has, sell it. I would say keep it, but that is just my opinion.

It always gets me when people as for an opinion that i know full well won't influence the outcome either way. However, since you asked, keep it, build it, love it. Just with the little things i've done i've been impressed with how responsive the camry is to tweaks. While the changes haven't made for earthshaking performance leaps, each one gives the car new life, and a better feel. Personally, i couldn't sell now if i wanted to, i love the car too much.

I hear you bro. I debate should I sell or keep mine all the time. But then I tell myself what else would I get? I also just love having it, 67k to boot!

i've never even thought about selling mine! i love it too much, and i know it's gonna be expensive, but in the end it'll stick out like a sore thumb, but in a good way

So Sell or Keep ?
You bought the car at good price and it's only got 70,000 miles. So it's a tough call. If you sell it you will probably be able to get your money back easily or more. I assume the car is in good shape. If you want to upgrade to a newer camry then it might be worth it. It all depends on what you are looking for. Tough question to answer for you.
I'm currently thinking about selling, depending how much I can get for it and how much downpayment I can give and the monthly payments I'll have to make for a Scion tC.
I'm on the same boat as you are in. I want a car thats sporty and doesn't hurt your wallet to mod, unlike the camry where every mod is very very expensive. I recently drove my gf's rsx and that car handled so much better than my H&R/tokico combo and it was STOCK! (And had lots more power too!) I'm probably gonna sell the cam and get one of those new 2006 civics... should be much cheaper to mod and actually performs....
the camry isn't that great of a platform to begin with... waaaayyyy too soft suspension, slow motor, and its heavy.....I would say sell it and get a better platform if money isn't an issue. It would probably be months before I get the civic....
i sold mine and miss it sooo much. i had to get another. got another 95. It's actually a little better then my old one (leather, v6) but shhh, told tell the old one
but in the end, do what makes you happy. you dont need our approval. just dont buy a civic. haha
yeah ive been eyeing the tc lately and i think about selling mine... i guess its more i think about whether or not i should keep dumping money into it or save for a new car
