Wheel Weight

Hi guys, I recently change to 17" rims from 14" steelies on a 96 Camry. No doubt that bigger rim weight more (from 20lb to 42lb per wheel) and I run on bumpy roads most of the time. So, my question is would the suspension arms able to handle heavier wheel. This might be a stupid quetion since most of the camry owners here have 17" or larger wheels and they are running fine, I just make sure that's all. Thanks guys.

it depends

if you can prove that they knew about it, and didn't fix it within a reasonable time, then most likely, yes. But otherwise, then most likely not.

And anyway, the most you can sue for is the price that it will take to fix those rims- doubt you'd even get rental costs covered- but if you really do take it that far, I'd say take what you can get. so unless they're $5K rims, it's really not worth the time and effort

It should be fine. Things might not last as long, but your not going to be hurt that much in the long run.
