will this header fit?

does anyone know if the pacesetter header for 3sfe celica fit my 3gen camry 5sfe? I know the header will will bolty up to the head correctly, because they have same exhaust manifold gasket, but will the downpipe point in the right direction and not be to short and run into the oil pan or something. I remember somebody putting this header on thier 2ndgen camry and i looked at my friens 2ndgen and the motor is mounted the same way as mine,... any way anyone know if this will work and i would take the car to an exhausat shop the have the downpipe mated to the rest of the exhaust. thanks for any info

It should fit I think the guys at celica.net have put a header made for a 3sfe in there celica's with 5sfe so I am sure it will fit yours as well.

I dont believe the mounting holes line up exactly, the manifold needs to be moddified a bit. Charlie "white90dx" has one, he'd be able to tell you exactly what he had to do. You can also search the older posts. He had some pictures as well as a short description.

If you are not worried about whether it will mate to the rest of your exhaust, the pacesetter header will for sure fit your 5s-fe. Here is a link to the post where I told about my header install:

http://www.toyotanation.com/viewtopic.php?t=11945

and the pictures are here:

I think there are better options out there specifically made to bolt up to the 5s-fe though, so try to find those. If you have any more questions, post up and I'll respond.

Patience is a skill that you will have to learn then... You often get what you pay for, remember that. Then again, I did get my header for $30 used (with all the extra parts, even).

Patience is important. I'm in high school and I've put a lot of money in my camry, it just takes saving and some patience to go along with it. In a year and a half I managed to do quite a lot and now I'm entering in shows. It all comes together eventually 8)
