Curb/Snow 1 , Me 0

Started sliding and hit a corner of an intersection going side ways atg about 20 mph. Bent the lower control arm, snapped the spring clean off, and scratched the shit out of my IS300 rim....

Poor Wheel

What it should look like (leftside)

bent (rights side)

Lowering spring came off on both top and bottom

Ouch!

Is the wheel bent?

Looks like you got lucky, at least a control arm is easily replaceable and you can find it at any junk yard.

Sorry to hear that. As long as no-one gets hurt, only bruised egos Low profile(wide) wheels and snow(ice) don't mix unless there are winters on them. Careful.......

Go to a good tire shop and ask them to put the tire on the balancing machine...they can tell you if the rim is still okay.
