4th Generation Rubber gaskets/seals/o-rings in Steering system

My steering wheel is a bit hard sometimes and it happens to squeak a lot whenever it gets hard so I'm wondering how many of these things are in there so I can change them. There's not precisions about this in my Haynes manual...

thanks for helping

you should be able to buy a rebuild kit for it that will include all of the seals and gaskets needed.I ahve never rebuilt one so I am not sure how many there are for sure. Call around to some local places that rebuild rack and pinions systems and they may be able to help you out more. THey may even have hte parts on ahnd to do it.
