Question Whiteline RSB Owners: Slick Surfaces?

I found the following quote on the Tokico web site.
Quote:
Anti-roll or Sway bars
A suspension does not have to have anti-roll bars, however they are quite common on many vehicles. The anti-roll bar is designed to help reduce body roll or lean. By using anti-roll bars, vehicle manufacturers are able to reduce spring stiffness. Softer springs improve ride quality and they help adhesion in many situations.

Anti-roll bars can also be used to improve handling balance. However, bars that are too large (too stiff) can reduce adhesion on slick surfaces. This is especially true on snow and ice. They can also be a disadvantage for serious off-road driving.
Have you had any problems with slick surfaces after adding a Whiteline RSB?

Thanks!

Nope, not with the Whiteline bar. But if the car has less roll and the traction is low on the tires (i.e. crappy tires, slick surface, etc...) increased lateral force will cause it to slide. Likewise, if the bar is too stiff (too thick/large) the car will slide more easily regardless of the quality of the tires or condition of the road.
Some of the guys with the adjustable TRD bar had some oversteer that caused them to slide a bit when the bar was set to the stiffer track setting.

Larger bar = stiffer/less flex = reduced body roll
Too Large of a bar = too stiff/not enough flex = not enough body roll

If the bar is well made and calculated for the car it will be fine.

If you're worried, don't push the car too hard until you get comfortable with the way it handles.

^ but on that note, be more careful if you drive in snow, as it is a lot worse for a front-wheel-drive car to have oversteer than a rear-wheel drive car
