mesh grill for front

has anyone put wire mesh in the front grill? I'm not trying to "rice" my car out. i just wanna keep big rocks n stuff out of the radiator. i had a gen4 last year, so many freakin rocks got in there over time...

I used some gutter guard ($6 for like 6 sheets at lowes) on my 3rd Gen Eclipse. The condensor has a sort of "pre-cooler" pipe that snakes around there and all of the plastic support had been torn to shreds from rocks and hitting curbs. I zip-tied it in to protect it and shore it up, and got quite a few comments about how good it looked too.

You can get a mesh grill at an auto parts and zip tie it, or tie it down however you want.
